Boxers, and wrestlers use this technique to weigh in as middle weight, when really they are heavy weights. Here is how you do it. Check with your doctor before you try this.
To do this you’ll need a bathtub, or a Jacuzzi. Part of your weight is water weight. When I soak in a hot bath for 15 minutes, I loose 1 pound. If I soak for 30 minutes, I lose 2 pounds. I’ve lost up to 4 pounds soaking in a bath once. Try it and you will see. You could be different than me. Step on your scale before you get in the bath and after. Use a timer. First, soak for 15 minutes then step on that scale again. You’ll be very surprised.
I call it turning on the sprinklers.
Your body has a survival mechanism against heat; it’s call sweating. It is what causes blisters on burn victims. Their pores have been closed and the water cant escape. It can escape in a hot bath. In fact, lots of it will escape. Try it and you will see. Just make sure you really dry off before that weigh in. If you are a hairy man; you’ll need to make sure you are dry before the weigh in. If you are a woman with long hair, you’ll need to dry that hair as much as possible before you weigh yourself. Wet hair is very heavy.
